Pandemic Plan
Course Description
Pandemic Plan training course enlightens the trainees and explain to them the specialized methodology applied in businesses to prepare for a potential outbreak of a pandemic. It introduces thorough analysis and review of the Pandemic Plans and Specific Pandemic Plans. In addition, it introduces the methods used to develop the Pandemic Plans and maintain them.
Aim of the Course
At the end of this course, you should be able to:
- Familiarize with the definitions and names in the pandemic, its surroundings and consequences.
- Determine the current position of the organization and how/where to begin
- Assess the business Risks from a Pandemic perspective.
- Identify critical business functions affected by a pandemic if any.
- Identify existing procedures and job responsibilities within your organization
- Build pandemic-specific plan elements and strategies.
- Exercise and maintain pandemic-specific plans

Teaching and Training Strategies
The course will adopt a range of learning and teaching strategies underpinned by the principle of student-centered learning. All participants are required to be actively involved and fully engaged in all aspects of the learning and teaching process. Engagement with fellow participants, both at individual and group levels is encouraged to ensure mutual support and learning from peers. Various learning technologies will be used to facilitate learning and teaching beyond the traditional classroom setting. These technologies should enable participants develop essential online skills as well as opportunities for collaborative and team work and access to global resources and expertise.
The specific learning and teaching methods deployed will vary according to the knowledge domain and context but would, in general, include some or all of the following:

Methods of Assessments
Assessment will be seamlessly integrated with the learning and teaching activities since assessment is an integral part of learning. The assessment approach will be based on the twin objectives of (a) guiding participants to enhance their performance in the achievement of intended learning outcomes and (b) measuring the extent to which the learning outcomes have been achieved. Assessment activities will thus comprise both formative and summative assessments characterized by detailed and timely feedback, self, peer and group evaluations, and internal and external moderation of summative assessment.
Specific methods will depend on the knowledge domain being assessed but would, in general, include some or all of the following assessment methods:
