Overview

Risk management is increasingly seen as a significant issue for businesses in all sectors, from tackling cyber risks, pandemics, climate change and fraud to co-ordinating complex supply chains and operational risk. As awareness of risk management grows, employers, clients and regulators increasingly value qualifications such as the International Certificate in ERM.

This qualification is a professional certificate set at degree level. It can be taken as a stand-alone qualification or form the first part of the International Diploma in ERM. Learning in the first module explores elements of the risk management process, while the second module looks at the practical implementation of such processes, including how they may be affected by organizational culture and appetite for risk.

Principles of Risk and Risk Management

An introduction to the principles and concepts of risk and risk management, it explores the history of risk management to help students gain an understanding of current drivers of enterprise risk management, as well as the development and impact of international standards

Practice of Risk Management

Exploring the impact of the global business environment on risk, it examines issues that are relevant to specific sectors and geographical areas, and the needs and demands of various stakeholder groups, including regulatory authorities.

Who should attend

The International Certificate in Enterprise Risk Management is the ideal qualification for anyone looking for a solid foundation in the theory and practice of effective risk management.

Designation

Successful graduates will be awarded the title of Certified IRM (IRMCert) which can be used after their names as an internationally recognised proof for their competent and professional skills. 

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements.

The certificate qualifications are delivered and assessed in English. If English is not your first language, we recommend you have an Academic IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent evidence of competence in the English language before beginning your studies. Regular recertification requires an ongoing commitment to continuing education and industry activities

Exam Information 

Examinations are online and computer-based. Module content will be assessed through the use of the learning outcomes.

Fees

Professional Certificates have a fixed fee for individual participants, group participants, and professional. The tuition fees for this program is 10,900 Saudi Riyals. 

Group enrolments
