Job Brief

Head of Training services position requires an experienced training manager to devise training strategy based on the need analyses of various clients. The job involves identifying training needs while working with clients senior team and develop suitable training initiatives that satisfies client’s needs. Training manager responsibilities include enhancing client’s employees’ skills, performance, productivity and quality of work.

Director, Learning and Development

Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals and consultation with client’s managers
  • Develop customized training programs that addresses needs and expectations of each client separately 
  • Recruit, develop, evaluate and terminate trainer’s contracts 
  • Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness and success 
  • Manage training budget
  • Provide all logistics support for training programs 
  • Resolve any specific problems and tailor training programs as necessary
  • Update senior management on training trends, developments and best practices

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Risk, Statistics, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science or related field
  • Seven years of related experience in education, training, skill development – this may be re-considered for relevant PhD degree holders. 
  • Track record in designing and executing successful training programs preferably in Risk Management 
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Experience in project management and budgeting
  • Hands-on experience using Microsoft Office 
  • Fluency in English and Arabic – written and spoken
