Job Brief

Head of Marketing responsibilities include developing plans to help establish institute’s brand, allocating resources to different projects and setting short-term and long-term department goals. If you’re a skilled Marketing strategist, able to inspire your team members, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will run our Marketing department in ways that promote higher profitability and competitiveness

Reporting to

Director,  Industry Engagement


  • Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share
  • Develop promotion strategies for all media including Digital, Print, Social 
  • Design branding, positioning and pricing strategies
  • Manage marketing efforts through Customer relations and Industry Engagement specialists to boost brand awareness
  • Prepare and manage annual budgets for the marketing activities
  • Ensure institute’s brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts (like events, email campaigns, web pages and promotional material)
  • Monitor competition (pricing changes and new products and features)
  • Develop the Institute’s strategic plan


  • Master’s degree in Marketing or Business or related field
  • Seven years of related experience in education, training, skill development, with at least 3 years’ experience as Head of Marketing, preferably within training or education industry. Experience may be re-considered for relevant PhD degree holders. 
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and social media tools like SEO, web analytics, Google AdWords and well-versed with social media tools like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn 
  • Experience running successful marketing campaigns on different platforms 
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Experience in project management and budgeting
  • Hands-on experience using Microsoft Office 
  • Fluency in English and Arabic – written and spoken
